Construction cost - Confidential
We defined a vision from The British Library to King’s Cross Station to The Regent’s Canal. There will be significant changes in the area by 2012 and beyond due to a number of adjacent developments. These include the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, the large developer owned site behind King’s Cross, St.Pancras chambers, three new LUL ticket offices and Thameslink relocation.
As a result there will be fundamental changes in the number and types of people.
The project will attract and integrate people to the area and wider environs through:
- Ensuring walking is a beautiful and clearly defined experience.
- Reducing vehicular traffic.
- Engaging passersby through art, media and commercial activity.
